401k / Profit Sharing Prospecting
So I am working on calling on the 408(b)(2) and 404(a)(5) requirements for 401k and profit sharing plans. Not having a lot of luck with the talking points, I’ve been using, they seem to come off too complicated, and too much jargon.
Anyone else having any luck with this, or have ideas on openings or talking points?
People don’t care about the jargon or legislative changes. Call, ask permission to send something; open the doors; touch base from time to time…lend value, do a comprehensive review; be consultative, stay afloat long enough to close one and you’ll do fine.
