Through today, I think we've resolved most of the techincal issues.

We've fixed: post counts, quoted by [user] (this is not retroactive but will work going forward), removed tag cloud.

Still working on: Speed (honestly we don't see any speed issues on our end but will investigate via performance testing; Modifying recent posts.

If you've found any bugs, please report them here or PM administrator.  New ad units on the right column are not a bug!

Can you add back the ability to see when someone last posted or was last online?  I used to go to find it on their profile.  Very helpful to see when someone started and stopped posting.

Sounds like the Rainmaker has something against the Widow Maker.

Are you killing husbands or wives when they don't return your affection?

We know they're not  a bug.  Can you move them to the top and also move/remove the "new forum topic" section?  We need to be able to use the whole width of the page.  This is silly.  It's like using a Blackberry or something.

Also, can we see a name of the last person that posted in the header of a message (for example when ou click on "Recent Posts", we used to be able to see who the most recent post was from.  Nobody cares who started the thread, they are inetrested in who posted last.

As someone said, too little, too late.  Another forum is being created.  But if you move quick enough, some of us may stay.

Dear Forum Admin,

Thank you for deleting my earlier post where I remarked how much the new incarnation of the RRep broker's forum sucks.  By deleting my post, I have now come to the realization that this new forum actually doesn't suck at all.  Thank you again for clearing this up and setting the record straight.  I will now spend the next few hours clicking on the assortment of banner ads plastered all over this page in order to generate more revenue for your company.

Cheers,

NYCTrader

I really hate your new look. And it won't grow on me if you were wondering.

I don't think it's terrible(other than the slow loading pages, seriously what is up with that).. I don't see any ads that you people are talking about.. I see links to registered rep articles, and recent posts but nothing else... I agree the small screen is blackberry like, but oh well it's free...

It looks cleaner then before, the last forum had a yellow tint to it...

Not bad admin guy...(just the slow loading pages)

I apologize... your new site looks good(like the old one) didn't know you could pull it off..

Mar 15, 2010 6:51 pm

you know people are leaving to use the other site b/c the visuals suck so bad here. By the way, they made the other site look exactly like the old one...perhaps this should be a lesson.

The new site is blocked on EDJ computers for compliance reasons =\

You may be able to add it to your "trusted sites" under Internet Options...
