I love ripping idiot athletes as much as the next guy, but did any of you see the story on what Vince Young did for Steve McNair’s sons? There was a Dad’s Breakfast at their school and Young showed up unexpectedly and took them to it, stayed with them, and signed jerseys and things for other kids at the school. Just an awesome story.

Did he cry and throw his helmet onto the cafeteria floor afterward?

For all the various things that he has done in the past, this story was a really good one. He got it right.

No doubt. The guy is an unreal athlete. Hopefully, this is the beginning of him turning it around mentally.

That Rose bowl is still one of the best games I have ever seen.

That was pretty cool what he did.  I know this is easy for me to say now but I really did predict before the draft in 2006 Young was going to be a bust in the NFL.  Very low score on the wonderlic, poor throwing motion, not very mature, had more talent on his team than the teams he played most weeks.  Now it seems he is pretty weak mentally, which did not seem to be the case in college.  I would be very surprised if he ever has success in the NFL.  Everybody is fast and big in the NFL, you have to be able to do other things.

He’s not a good fit for the Titans. They have a great D and can run the ball. They just need a QB to manage the game like Collins does.

Put him in the wildcat in Miami and maybe he does better?

More talent?? Who was on the offense on those Texas teams? Limas Sweed?? No running back, no receivers.

The wonderlic is crap.. These guys aren't CEOs they are football players. I don't care if a linebacker can count to 20, what I care about is him finding the ball carrier and knocking him out.

I'd like my franchise quarterback to at least be able to read defenses and recognize when to call an audible and call for a blitz pickup if he sees one coming.  Some of these playbooks are hundreds of pages long.  The QB not only has to know what the play is, but needs to know where every offensive player on the field needs to be while at the same time reading a safety/linebacker/cornerbacks eyes.
