I thought Greenbacks was in CO.  It snows in CA? 

  Um...yeah.   All of California isn't Malibu or on the coast you know.  No snow here yet,  but it's starting to get  frosty in the mornings

I am in CO.

Yes CA does get snow. The leafs are turning fast over 10,500 feet.     On weekends I hike into mountain lakes and fish. Last weekend I went to a lake a little over  13,000 feet and it was early winter up there. The high lakes are freezing at night so this may be my last weekend above 13,000. To fish anyway. Ohh I caught my biggest trout ever last weekend!   We got more snow last night. Fall is here I had an eight point buck in my back yard this morning. The elk are starting to move also.
