Does anyone know how this guy was affiliated?  I can’t find him on broker check, but it appears from news stories that he was affiliated with an RIA and did insurance also.

I bet he was one of those ‘senior specialists’ who didn’t have a securities license but sold tons of equity index annuities…

The plane crashed not too far from here, and there was a new ad in the paper today advertising a dinner meeting for “seniors only” tired of “market risk” and looking for “guarantees.”  Saw some dude with wet clothes on a red motorcycle hanging out a shingle in the office complex across the street, and 2 hours later there were lots of old people walking out of that office, crying, and I could hear them saying something about “not being able to get our money out…”
