For those on this forum who fear/dread the next 4 years (personally, I’m taking the approach that, hey, we’re all back to being Americans now, so let’s make the best of it and work together), and for those of us who are communicating with clients who fear/dread the next four years, I’m proposing a U.I.T. only available to members of this forum.  Double secret probation stuff.  This U.I.T. can only be referred to obliquely, as the U.I.T. That Cannot Be Named.

Holdings will be: RGR, SWHC, FCX, BHP.......   Your additions?

GAY

Now, Hank, as much as I'm sure there are those who would really like to get behind you with this suggestion, I don't want you to choke on the premise.  It's not some gag, or blow to the head of conventional wisdom to assume there are some really solid, up-standing ideas that we could plug into a portfolio spread like this.  Come on, push past your tight hold on risk aversion, and reach for some blow-out returns.

Ok, so we’re adding BFB, STZ, WYNN, MO, PM.

What else?

I don't know what I was even thinking. A bunch of grown men, playing on the internet, putting together a make-believe UIT? Definitely NOT gay.

Anybody want to compete with my trade of the day thread? Those are real trades in real accounts. I would be curious to see how others are actually working their AUM.

It’s hard to compete with selling puts into a falling market.

Selling puts to get into great stocks at lower than low prices is awesome. Getting paid for being wrong is even better. Once you get the hang of probabilities and using the greeks you can make a killing. Buying options almost seems like a suckers bet in comparison. At best most of the time you odds are 50/50. I'll take the 85 / 15 .   Not to mention looking like a wizard to your clients.
