Does anyone out there have experience with Ned Davis Research?  Anyone actually own a NDR license?

I ask because I am most likely about to purchase one for about $30,000 - $50,000 a year.

I've used the Curian strategies managed by NDR, and in my humble opinion nothing else compares.   I actually don't know where else to go for good US equity management.

The Curuan strategy, the Tactical Advantage Strategy, take a platform of passively managed ETF's, constructs your basic ETF portfolio, and hedges risk by monthly balancing the portfolio to be aligned with the NDR models and signals.

I'm leaving my current firm and going to a place where Curian isn't available.  I asked NDR who has a Curian comparable product .  They said: No One.  But they said for $30,000/year I could get the tools neccessary to duplicate it on my own.. and then some.

Has anyone done this?  Tried this?  Thought about this?
