Have any of your used the CFP prep courses put on by Ken Zahn and Brett Danko?  Do you have any feedback, positive or negative on that course or other prep courses?

Joe,

I am actually taking classes at a local college. The program that they follow is Keir. I have several "Series" license and have taken STC, Kaplan, Dearborn, Dodd, etc. Keir is about a "B". The books are small and TO THE POINT. I also use their CD's. They also have a 3 day prep class that I plan on taking.

In my opinion the Zahn / Danko classes are absolutely essential if you want to pass the CFP exam.  I took the CFP exam twice before passing.  I consider myself a pretty bright guy but that is not enough on this test.  In my opnion only about 30%-40% of passing the test has to do with your knowledge of the subject.  The remaining 60-70% has to do with your ability to pass a test.  Took the Zahn class and prep course before taking the exam the second time and walked out of it knowing I had passed the test.  If you have any more questions about it please send PM
