  My opinion: Spitzer is pushing hard for a VP slot.

The last thing those monolines and the markets need is for the NY bigmouth (an no not Cramer or Hillary) to throw down the gauntlet to them.  Giving them some reasonable deadline is one thing, but an 11th hour ultimatum is another.   IMHO Spitzer’s ego compells him to be in front of the camera at least once a month to try and take on WallStreet.

I agree. Spitzer is in this for himself. You have to agree it seems to be working. He destroyed Putnam and put himself in the spotlight long enough so everyone knew who he was. He acts like some holier than thou savior out to save the world, but he’s really just looking at political gain.
