Spam filter settings?

When I submit posts I sometimes get the Pink bar message stating a spam filter is preventing me from posting. Can someone let me know how to prevent this from occuring?
The spamfilter was catching EVERYTHING that I tried to post. So...I have made my triumphant return as...spamfilter
