I have a draw plus commissions. Last time I checked I I was paid very similar to any other broker. I have brought in about a 1.8 million this month.

That’s a good asset month, but what was the velocity?  I didn’t make sh*t on CDs…

I have never sold a CD, ever, my GDC this month is 43K

You are a liar.

I thought that was pretty wierd too, I am a broker in a bank, not a teller in a bank.

No, it's not. You are a liar.

Dirk,

This is not that great of a month by bank standards so if you think I am exaggerating maybe you should check out some bank platforms…

I'll get right on it.

You know that tellers can't sell brokered CDs..don't you?  At any rate, you're in a decided minority and you've never sold a broker CD inside a bank...are you series 6?

I'm so tired of talking about minorities. Can't we all just get along?

Dirk/HS- Quit the B.S. LA is close to my heart and R.K. references should be left out. Add something intelligent to the post as you are more than capable.

Thanks-TJ

I'm so sorry for pushing your hypersensitive rodney king button. I'm very abrasive to people with deep, unresolved rodney king issues. Will your inner rodney king ever be able to forgive me?

Sep 29, 2006 1:42 am

I'm not hypersensitive whatsoever.  I know of GH who took the video. IMO RK deserved nothing but his day in court.  Still- this is RRMag.  Kindly provide something practical to our business.

Thanks- TJ

Why would I sell brokered CD’s in a bank when the bank has their own CD’s? They don’t pay squat and you’ll hear folks whine about the fluctuating prices. No thanks.

HS seems like your a bit jealous of others success, having a tough time selling your annuitties with all the bad press that is out lately?

I only sold about $200,000 in VA's this month, but I also did $650,000 in a NG deal that paid 8%, at no grid (100% payout).

Does your broker/dealer know you’re selling NG deals?  How are the NG deals working out for your client?

No. Do you think I should say something? Does it really matter how they work out for the clients? I made $52,000, though.
