No, no TC please, TC exams questions are super easy compare to the real test. I used TC and failed two weeks ago with a 65. I bought Pass Perfect and the differences is huge.

How did you like passperfect? What are the pros and cons?
my firm I work for is willing to buy me the materials from another vendor.
Because I see alot of people saying that TC is the way to go. Let me know.

Ironically, I failed with the same score and used kaplan! Was scoring mid 80’s on all the Qbanks and everything. I heard about all the reviews of TC and decided to go with that. Since I had a month to study I went from start to finish with TC. I can say that the book is much smaller but they have a much more expansive set of recordings for someone like me that zones out while reading such a boring book. I havent taken the practice tests yet but as far as the book is concerned it is much more in depth than Kaplan was. Atleast in my opinion. Ill let you know how it goes in 2 weeks when I take it again?

I actually took it yesterday and passed! TC was great. There were about 20% of the questions that were almost verbatim on the test itself. If I had to take it again I would focus more on Discounting, NPV, IRR and the likes. There were a lot of questions like that on the test. Any questions ask away!

(What was your score?) Scored a 76%, was averaging 84% on TC. I would of done much better if I wasn’t so nervous (If I failed a second time I would be fired).

With Kaplan I focused more on taking the tests, here I focused more on the reading and understanding all the theories.

( Did you still use Kaplan materials?) I completely stopped the Kaplan materials and only used TC.

(Any other sguggestions? ) I feel like I focused way too much on memorizing the Exemptions and exceptions for USA, Fed Covered etc. and not enough on the Investment Vehicle Characteristics. The TC questions for those (Rules & Regs) were pretty much verbatim to what was on the test. The Investment Vehicles were much tougher I felt.

Yes, that is what I am trying to do, is focus more on reading & understanding all the theories as well. I have been able to catch onto things that I didnt remember last time. My issue with Kaplan was that I was taking too many exams and not understanding the concepts.

Regarding Kaplan materials, I did stop using their materials. but i have taken the exams every now and then to get a jist of different questions.

Thanks for the tips. When I took the exam originally, I didn’t focus on the investment vehicles either. I have to do this time around.

How long did it take you to study the Training Consultant material and prepare for the test the second time? Any new questions being asked on the exam? Can you let me know any questions you found difficult?
