Which is the easier way to go?

A better question might be, “Which do you need?”

Hopefully you’ve figured this out - 24 for a NASD firm 9/10 for a NYSE firm.

...or a practical translation for indies...Ray Jay requires the 9/10, LPL requires the 24.

Series 9 and 10 is for general sales principal only…includes regulating option sales (the S9) and 10 is general brokerage supervision of sales…so if you plan on being a sales manager or branch manager…these typically is the route.
The Series 24 principals cannot supervise options unless they take other option related qualification exams. We teach both at pass-finra-exams web site.
