I am currently active duty military and am midway thru my contract. When I get out of the Army I am considering a career as a financial advisor. I am older (currently 42) and have never been in sales before. I am near completion of a BS in BA in about a year. Hard work has never been an issue for me. My question is how receptive is this business towards older guys and what is the employment outlook like.
First… Thank you for your service.
With regards to the question, age isn’t an issue. They only care about your ability to sell. Good luck. It’s the greatest career out there short of driving around an Abrams.
