bye bye, just filed for bankruptcy. why is there still a value on the stock?

because apparently there are still people willing to buy it…

Did you check to see if it’s actually trading?  Maybe you’re looking at a stale quote, or “last trade”.

Shorts may want to close out their positions rather than take any risk involved with squeezing out the last few pennies.

There may be some residual equity and or a reorg. Not something I would get involved with.

KMart and some airlines went Chap 11 and look at them now. Fire the unions and replace with cheep employees then pay CEO 30 mill for a few months.

Who says share holders have a say, when they cant even vote on BOD packages. Throw in some nice back dates options and god bless America. Can’t wait till the day I am 55, well maybe I can
