I just heard an atty. on Bloomberg say that, selfishly, that this combination was bad for lawyers that are focused in this area.

Less lawyers on the other side to fight with....Might not be a bad thing...

The biggest beef the NASD/NYSE arb lawyers have is by combining the two agencies, they lose "choice of venue."
