I actually had an offer from Morgan Stanley a few months ago.  I turned them down.  Mostly because I would have been some other big producer's lapdog (one of four) and I didn't like that idea.  If I ever do leave Jones it will be to start my own firm.  I have friends at LPL, Wachovia, and Raymond James who used to be with Jones.  I think a firm that has an CFP, CPA, and JP would be a great shop to run.  Spaceman Spiff Wealth Advisors.  Out of this world service or your money back. 

Sorry, it's been a really long day.  One more appointment tonight and I can go home.

I like it.  I wouldn't suggest going from one employer to another...Indy is the way to go.

Agreed…Spiff represents what is good at Jones…and if he leaves, it should only be to pilot his own ship…
