walks in today, says well its that time of the year again. I have too much in my bank account.  Here's a check for 80K.  Adding to the other 1.4m we have.

Do whatever you want with it, he says Income, but not tax free right now we are ok there.

I make a few suggestions.

Whatever you think is best.

I say lets do an account review, I think some of these investments have played out and we might want to reposition.

Do whatever you want, you're doing fine.  (He's going to Europe for a month and will do a review when he gets back.)  I tell him I have to run these ideas by him first since I don't have discretion on his account.  He says OK just call me and I'm sure it will be fine. (and it will be)

Oh, and my son in law is retiring and selling his engineering consulting frim and moving up here.  He'll be calling you.

Gives be a bottle of really nice wine and says bye bye.

Sigh....life is good.  I love my favorite customers.

Clients like that make the business worth having. Remember that you’ve earned that trust through your hard work, devotion and communication skills.

In San Francisco, I'll bet a lot of your clients bring you flowers and thongs with some frequency.
