CHECK THE PREVIOUS THREADS!!!!!
There is a 95% probability that whatever you're asking has been covered in previous threads. If you ask a question that has been previously covered "ad nauseum" in other threads, you're not going to get much of an answer. We're tired of the subject and we have moved on. (If I may speak for the other posters.)
It may take you a couple of hours to go thru all the threads/posts to find the information relevant to your question, but that sure beats waiting for someone to answer your question (if any of us answer at all).
(A sure sign that you've asked a question that's been previously beaten to death: when you get a flippant answer and that's all you get.)
If you've checked the threads/posts and still don't have an answer, then ask the forum. Just be sure to preface your question with the fact that you've checked the previous threads/posts and haven't found the answer, yet. If I think you've attempted to find the answer on your own first, I (and maybe others) am/are more willing to seriously answer your question. (That is, of course, if I/we know the answer.)
Sorry guys/gals, I just had had enough of the same, repetitive questions eating up my bandwidth.
i need to know how much money i will make the first year---and will i get 3 weeks vacation?
Thanks!
When I go to a web site looking for info I'm not going to spend hours searching for it. If a simple search doesn't get me the info or at least started in the right direction it's time to start asking questions. If a forum regular is bored by my laziness, too bad, the internet highway is long and well populated, move on straight ahead. Most forums welcome basic questions from newbies as way of increasing the flock.
