Magazine title help
8 RepliesJump to last post
i work at an RIA firm in Orange County. One of my goals this year is to start publication of a monthly magazine. My target audience is obviously high net-worth individuals in the affluent areas of my county (since there are so many). I am having trouble with a name, perhaps “Affluence” or “Prestige”. I will have a circulation of approx. 10,000, then at least double it every year from then on. The content of the magazine will consist of articles about financial adive or other various wealth/financial topics, real estate, restaurant reviews and interviews with who’s who in Orange County. Thanks so much for your help!!! I am open to all suggestions for titles, as i do not want to sound trite or cheesy.

I would go for the direct approach and call it “Moolah” magazine. The OC
women’s version would be called “Moolah for Blondes”

Mr. A that is the single best post I have ever read on this forum. By the way what about: How to invest your wealth before you leave your wife for the 20 year old secretary.

Having worked in the magazine business prior to entering the financial services business, I find you magazine idea....to be lacking. I'm not trying to be mean, but that is an incredibly complex task and you make it sound like you are going to continue on as a Financial Advisor and run a start up mag on the side....kind of like a glorified monthly newsletter. PM me if you want more information / advice.
