the NASD ever had:

FD: I prefer "Living History" by Hillary Rodman Clinton over "John Adams" by David McCollough.

Hillary for President in '08!

Of course, I mean the year 3008.

Obama might run, too.

I'd like to see Arlen Specter as President.

Cough, cough....

On a lighter note, William Jefferson won re-election in Louisiana. Y'all remember him don't 'cha? He was the one who kept $90,000 in cash in his freezer. I hear he's buying a "Subzero" brand freezer, now (Bigger capacity). He was suspected by the FBI of receiving bribes. He ran his campaign on "family values". Yea, MOB family values!

What a loser and that goes for everyone who voted for him.

Spitzer's not that much better, is he?

Taking $10K in PAC money from someone the FBI has so much interest in and not handing it back saying, "duh, I didn't know" isn't exactly my idea of "Mr. Ethics."

Dec 11, 2006 12:28 am

Agreed.

Dec 11, 2006 4:49 am

Oh, giving the money back makes it all ok? Like the people who gave back the $ Mark Foley raised for them????

What's that, almost nobody gave that money back?

"Well, I'll be dammed!"

Mr. A

Spitzer knew this guy's "history" before taking the PAC money. Not sure too many folks knew Foley was into adolescent young men before accepting PAC money he helped them raise.

If you or anyone else wants to see the Times' story I should have it available via clip/paste/scan later today.

[email protected] (not with LEHman Brothers...or Sisters, either)

FD: I do like Specter a lot. Did you catch last week's Senate Judiciary Committee hearings into the Aguirre situation at the SEC?
