Now doberman, it may not have been you, but if the gov is conspiring to hide all of these numbers from us as someone previously claimed then how did you get your hands on this?

   [/quote]   I never said the government is hiding this from us. It's all in plain view; CPI, GDP, unemployment, etc. all on the respective government websites. The wording is basically bland and technical.   Since I don't have the time to research all this stuff, I subscribe to various services who do look at this stuff and have the talent and expertise to explain (in layman's language) what's going on and possible economic effects.
