I’ve got a client who’s account has been royally screwed over by the back office.  In the past month it’s been error after error on the same account and if they could find something else to screw up I’m guessing they will.  Client isn’t out any money, it’s just embarrasing that they could do so much wrong on one account.

What type of gift would you give a client like that to help smooth things out a little?  It’s not a large client but I still hate the idea of any client being disappointed in our service.  Any ideas?

I usually go with something simple like a gift certificate to a favorite restaurant.

An old bottle of HIGH KARATE would smooth things over, hell it may even get your client a new look on life

Beagle...Did a box of Omaha steaks recently with a note that said, "Hopefully this will get rid of the "bad" taste that's been left in your mouth lately"

For another client same type of situation, did a gift cert for a couples massage. You'd have to determine if they are right kind of couple, really hip, urban, upbeat type who wouldn't think it creepy or weird. Included note with that one that said, "Hopefully this will resolve some of the knots in your neck, we've been the source of recently."
