Ok, so maybe I’m blind, but where the heck did my PM’s go? I can’t see my inbox or a link to anything related to PMs…is this because of the update, we’ve done away with PMs???

PM is gone… It sucks! Part of the NEW upgrade I guess… More like a downgrade. All the other newer features are cool- but not having PM sucks.

Assuming RRMAG really does want to kill this forum, they're making all the right moves.  No PM function is really a deal-breaker.  Nice job, forum admins.

PM’s no PM’s - neither one makes a huge difference to me, what killed this forum was Nancy, Macca, and the other trolls that skewed every single topic to their own agenda.

No regulation = No useful information.

Evidently big brother isn’t speaking, but is WATCHING

I called the editor this morning and informed him that we didn't have PM, and all of the posts back to late Sept. were gone, and that there's no "report" function for troll posts, and that there seems to be no way to contact the admin (which isn't the editor, of course).    He was surprised, thanked me for the call, and said he appreciates feedback.    I'm getting sick of this forum and the apparent red-headed step-child status it has at rrmag, but i'm suddenly in the mood to try to make it a good forum, which means taking the time to call and complain until things get better, or i quit.

Those of you still interested in trying to make this a good forum (inspite of rrmag?), please help me compile a list of features and tools that are necessary to make this a good forum.

We have PMs back.   Now I want:
1.)  Restore the lost posts from after Sept. 21st.  Not a huge deal to me, but there was some good ones in there.   2.)  Report Button feature to report troll posts to the admin.   3.)  An admin that actually seems to give a damn, and return emails, acknowledge suggestions, etc.   4.)  Turn on a color scheme or SOMETHING.  Most of these web forum software apps have some sort of color scheme to better separate posts and embedded quotes, etc.  It makes the threads much easier to follow.   5.)    6.) 7.) 8.)   That's all I've got so far.  Those of you who think this forum is salvageable, please post what you want from this forum, and I'll call the editor again and see what I can do (or you can).  He seemed receptive this morning, and already turned PMing back on.

Taco, the REPORT POST feature has always been there as far as I know, it’s under POST OPTIONS in the right hand corner.

And you don't have to worry about trolls anymore, Nancy said she was leaving   You have some good ideas there but I'm afraid without an active admin all the features in the world won't save it.
