Cynical? Skeptical? Moi?

Wall Street is ready to finally get serious about regulation. And they have the public service announcements to prove it.
By Bill Singer, Attorney and publisher of http://BrokeAndBroker.com and http://RRBDLaw.com

BILL SINGER: I'm not a fan of FINRA and wasn't much of a fan of the NASD or the NYSE. I'm sort of uneasy about Congress bestowing such a plum as self regulation upon Wall Street; and even if it made sense in the aftermath of the Great Depression, I'm not convinced that this self-regulatory concept is sensible in this day and age--you know, the day and age of Madoff and worldwide recession. The day and age that our regulators sort of slept through.

I invite you to see the new face of Wall Street's regulation. Please visit here, it's a FINRA Web site entitled "Watch Our TV Ads." Click on the links entitled "Promise," "Education" and "Fairplay." I'm sure you will find it an uplifting experience.
