Detox / Quote Monitors

My detox from 4 years of a Green Koolaid binge, begins soon. Obviously many of you ex-drinkers know the tech deprived environment I am referring too. So you RJ and LPL pros, are you using the platform they provide or to an independent tracker like quotetracker.com?
Ps. Ya' ll are nuts on this forum, I have hesitated posting previously, 'cause frankly it is like the 2 out of 5 star movie M. Night Shyamalan directed, "The Village". I know he could have at least gotten a 4 out of 5 if he would replaced it with us Jones'ees trying to leave the safety of the asylum.
Welcome to the jungle. If you track a lot of individual stocks, the LPL quote system is pretty basic, although they have a second system called securities tracker that is better and can send you email alerts. Someone else will have to tell you about the RJ system as it's been too long since my due diligence trip.
I think the freebie you referenced is a nice little system, to be honest. You can probably buy something better, but unless you need something really sophisticated, I can't see spending the money.
...and yes, occasionally we forget our meds...

Funny you should mention this film when referring to Jones. My Rep and I always now refer to it, as "the place of which we shall not speak"
