I’m thinking of changing my B/D and would appreciate any input from
forum members about Commonwealth Financial.  20 year vet, last 10
indy.  Thanks for your help.

Heard pretty good things about them, but where are you indy now?  I looked at Raymond James and LPL and they seemed to be the class of the field…

RJFS. Good company but I’m tired of all the negative publicity from the
mf break point fiasco and Herula case.  Also feel firm’s growth
has outstripped it’s ability to provide service at levels of previous
years we were used to.

Sounds a bit like LPL...great firm, but growing fast and the service is good but sometimes a bit slow...

I’ve worked with several Commonwealth advisors in the past.  Their feedback seems positive.  Not sure if you work with individual securities.  If so, you will be considered captive but you can rest assured that there are no mark-ups, mark-downs.  All trades are riskless. They are also an eight time winner of the Broker Dealer of the year award.  Not sure if that helps.
