Commodity ETF's

I work at Jones and as you know we don’t do much in the way of commodities. I have a client who would like to invest in commodities and is looking for a way to do that. What are everyones thoughts on commodity ETF’s?
Thanks for the help.[quote=A-Ron] I work at Jones and as you know we don’t do much in the way of commodities. I have a client who would like to invest in commodities and is looking for a way to do that. What are everyones thoughts on commodity ETF’s?
A-Ron - You should tell your client to go find an advisor who can help him with his financial needs.
Seriously though - there are a few good commodity ETFs. And some that are crap. You just have to be discerning. I’m sure that Jones has all of the research you need to figure out how to help your client.
Better not do it A-Ron. They know what you are doing and don't like it one bit......
Go to Joneslink, type “Commodity ETF’s”. We have a list of funds and ETF’s that are recommended. I use some, and (despite what Noggin thinks), I have never had a problem with Jones. For the msot part, they just don’t like leveraged ETF’s.

Wow - Jones has come a long way in a short time
I think what noggin is getting at is the more that he thinks for himself, the less Jones likes it. Thinking for yourself leads to independence.
We're all on pins and needles for when YOU leave B!
Moraen is the winner!!! Thinking independently leads to being independent one day.[quote=B24] Go to Joneslink, type “Commodity ETF’s”. We have a list of funds and ETF’s that are recommended.
