Bernard Madoff was sentenced to 150 years, the maximum sentence. I wish he was eligible for the death penalty.

Good riddance!  Now let’s hope to never hear his name again!

Death would be fair for this f***er. The only consolation in this is that he will be involuntarily biting pillows for the rest of his life. Scumbag.

The fact that his wife is walking away with $2,500,000.00 makes me mad. I understand that she has not been convicted of anything, so she is entitled to any assets that she brought into the marriage or inherited as separate property. I just do not believe her when she says that she did not know about her husband’s fraud. I can only hope that she loses everything in civil claims.

I agree Jack, and they also need to punish the other people that were involved. I don’t think he could have done it alone. There are also regulators that were likely involved directly, or turned their heads.

Mr. D.

Agreed. I think his son's and brother had to have know. I just do not believe that they would not have asked how good old dad/bro was get his returns.
