Are you pushing uber aggressive stocks, or are you encouraging clients to pull in the reins at this time?

I’m reducing allocations to equities by about 15% in my moderately aggressive & aggressive portfolios, and using this as opportunity to get others that have made their own investments to asset allocate.

I’m also taking IRA’s of people who are w/n 5 yrs of retirement and using VA’s.

I let my clients know that I don’t have a clue as to what the market will do in the short run.  The aggressiveness or lack thereof depends 100% on the client and their goals and their time horizon and nothing to do with the economy except to the extent that the economy effects their comfort level as it pertains to risk.

That’s basicly it. If you feel concerned, TIPS are waiting for you.
