Innovation is accelerating, making this one of the most exciting times to manage it, says Matthew Moberg, vice president and portfolio manager, Franklin Equity Group at Franklin Templeton, at the 2020 Inside ETFs conference.
He said Franklin Templeton is launching three new ETFs based on areas they think will continue to grow for the next decade or two: disruptive commerce, genomic advancements and intelligent machines.
"When you invest in innovation, it's often one of the most misunderstood parts of the market," Moberg said, "And therefore, it's an area where you need active management."
