The market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies is currently $417 billion, and analysts believe the market could reach a valuation of $1 trillion by the end of the year. It’s so big that it has attracted the attention of some well-known musicians—for better or worse. 

For starters, bitcoin is down some 80 percent from its 2017 highs. And some folks are running afoul of the regulators. DJ Khaled, who is on’s list of musicians in the crypto space, recently got in trouble with the Securities and Exchange Commission for failing to disclose payments he received for hyping initial coin offerings.
