NASD Newbie was awesome, bright, and intelligent - if you don’t believe me, just ask him (or her).

Somebody has to be the brightest member of a group. If you think it's you then step right up and lay claim to it, but be prepared for others to take pot shots at you.
Which of the people who leave their musings here do you think is the brightest?
Sorry newbie - (I mean Knows Wall Street), I didn't realize that it was some sort of competition to prove smarts. I believe, not sure, that the focus of this forum is to share ideas and not fabricate this ultra-ego, that will provide a false sense of power. Don't you believe that supporting others with ideas and encourage people to not give up is much better that 'pontificating' what a brilliant person you are? The one who lays claim to being the brightest tends to be the most insecure.
Blowing out other candles doesn't make yours brighter.

Does that make them not the brightest? If you think you are the brightest you should stake that claim as if you were a prospector.

You may choose yourself.

Well, Putsy, it's clear to all that we can start by eliminating YOU from the running.
I'm the smartest dude around here.
Well, then again that's by default so who am I kidding?
A smart person knows when he/she is out of his/her area of expertise and acts accordingly. I think we all know who that eliminates…
I believe that the 'NASD Newbie' person was the smartest - but unfortunately, we haven't had any postings from them lately.
However, there's this new person 'knows wall st.' who's made almost 60 posts since Monday. Wow - that's a busy person. Must not have to produce for a living, or something. After tomorrow - when they have over 100 postings, I may nominate them as the 'smartest' person in this group.
Joedabrkr is the smartest person and this board and he can prove it. And he has common sense.

Common sense? You mean like quitting a job with some security to
venture into the world of no security and joining a country club as the
first thing he did?

Yeah that’s right I’m an idiot. I’ve proven it by taking the bait and responding to your post.
Once again we’re back to the fact that you spent so many years sucking on the corporate tit that you can’t concieve of what I did, and that it was possibly the most sane decision I ever made in my life.
I don’t carry much debt, and we live well within our means. So, joining the club has been a pleasant diversion, a good business tool, and quite affordable even though my income fluctuates a bit month to month.
Thanks Biasedrecruiter for your kind words. In reality I have plenty more to learn in life.

I think he was joking–nobody could actually believe that.
Thank you forum moderators...although it took you long enough...
It appears our favorite Vice President of Paperclips got the boot again...wonder how long it will take the fungus to come back with a new name...

Methinks perhaps they have fallen into a routine where every Friday they find the latest incarnation of Newbie and deactivate him just before they go out for Happy Hour and talk about what an amazingly persistant horse's behind he is........
