The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, signed into law on March 27, makes significant changes to laws affecting estate planning and wealth management. Our speaker will provide an overview of these provisions, including waivers of 2020 required minimum distributions from qualified retirement plans and individual retirement accounts, delayed IRA and plan contribution dates tax treatment of charitable donations and deductible business interest expense relief.
