Matt Ackermann, chief content officer, Integrated Partners, is joined by Avita Sukhram, director, Equity Index Product Wealth, FTSE Russell, to explain what direct indexing is, how it's being used by advisors and how advisors can leverage direct indexing to get the best out of it for clients.
Sukhram joined FTSE Russell in 2021 and is responsible for product management of market-cap-weighted equity index utilization for the wealth market, including Russell US Indexes and the FTSE Global Equity Index Series (FTSE GEIS). Avita has 20 years of financial services industry experience. Prior to joining FTSE Russell, Avita spent the last 10 years in wealth management, most recently at BNY Mellon's Pershing focused on RIA investment product and platform strategy. Avita began her career in data, research and analytics for a variety of financial services firms. Avita earned a B.A., Economics, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and MBA, Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University.
