Gallery: Christie's New York Renaissance Sale

The highlight of Old Masters Week at Christies New York, Renaissance is devoted to the artistic traditions that flourished in Europe from 1300 to 1600. This sale featured a select group of paintings, works on paper, tapestries, prints and maiolica from some of the greatest masters of the era who were active throughout Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and France. Masterpieces by Botticelli, Fra Bartolommeo, Bronzino, Raphael, Pulzone and Cranach are among the treasures, which also mark some significant rediscoveries and fresh to the market works.
