fpPathfinder and Wealthbox Integrate Financial Planning Checklists

Advisors can now save notes associated with financial planning directly to clients' CRM records.

Financial planning checklist and flowchart provider fpPathfinder is integrating with Wealthbox, a CRM software developer, to provide advisors using both services with financial planning checklists within Wealthbox CRM. fpPathfinder co-founder Michael Lecours made the announcement on Tuesday at the XY Planning Network’s XYPNLIVE(ish) national conference.

The integration allows advisors to save flowchart notes directly to individual clients’ CRM records, promoting better client recommendations and stronger record-keeping, said Lecours. The notes can also be used as client meeting talking points and illustration tools for prospects.

"We wanted to make it even easier for advisors to use financial planning checklists, and document their due diligence of financial planning for an individual client," he said in a statement. "In the past, an advisor would get a client call about a complex issue, search Google for potentially outdated answers, then maybe type some notes into a CRM. With fpPathfinder’s new Wealthbox integration, advisors can go into their CRM and assign an up-to-date pre-made checklist to the client's record, check off items and add notes directly."

fpPathfinder also integrates with CRM software provided by Redtail Technology. Michael Kitces, co-founder of XYPN, is also a co-founder of fpPathfinder.
