Hirschman will return to the Company as President and CEO effective August 1, 2013. Hirschman is currently a real estate attorney at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP in Indianapolis, Indiana, and previously worked as Director of Development with Browning from 2005 to 2012. While at Browning, John was responsible for managing Browning’s joint venture relationships with Duke Realty and Prologis and oversaw the development of multiple business parks and significant industrial, office and mixed-use facilities. As President and CEO, Hirschman will direct all facets of a robust real estate pipeline – including all development, development services, financing, construction and property management activities.

Michael G. Browning – who has served as President and CEO of the Company since 1981 – will maintain his role as Chairman of the Board. In addition to his role at Browning, Michael continues to be active in the Indianapolis community, currently serving as Board Chair of Visit Indy (formerly the Indiana Convention & Visitors Association), as well as a board member of Duke Energy Corporation, the Indiana Sports Corporation, and the Indianapolis Indians.

Browning has also announced several key additions to the management team.
Mark R. Susemichel has joined Browning as Senior Vice President, Development. Mark brings 20 years of development experience to Browning, most recently serving as Head of Investment Management, United States for HDG Mansur Investment Services. Mark’s initial responsibilities will include oversight of joint venture relationships and industrial development.
Angie J. Wethington has joined Browning as Vice President, Asset Management. Angie came from Cassidy Turley where she directed investment sales on over 60 investment offerings and portfolios totaling more than 32 million square feet. With Browning, Angie will be initially responsible for all facets of asset management for a large and dynamic portfolio of properties, including property management, leasing, financing, and asset positioning.
Kristy N. Carter has joined Browning as Senior Property Manager. Kristy was most recently with St. Vincent Health as a Leasing Specialist. Kristy previously worked for Hokanson Companies, Inc. and Allen Group Companies where she was responsible for asset and property management.
