Location State: Open, West of the Mississippi
Base Salary: 90,000 - 100,000 DOE
Bonus & Incentives: 25% + of base salary. Bonus pay out is greater based upon performance of business unit. 2004 = bonus payout was 180% of target. Therefore, a base of $100k @ a 25% target bonus actually yielded an incentive payout of $45,000
Position Responsibilities: Right-sized and on a roll, this Top-10 industry leader had 30% earnings growth in 2004! Reporting to the Trust President, will generate personal trust business by developing relationships with and wholesaling trust services to financial professionals within Broker Dealer Network. Position supports financial representatives through marketing, sales and coaching, trust document review, and assistance with transitional delivery of trust assets. Manage relationships, develop business, and maintain prospect pipeline in territory.
Education and Certifications/Licenses: Bachelors, CTFA or CFP; Series 7 & 63 preferred
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 10 years wholesaling or selling financial services, preferably within financial advisory community. Strong personal trust background and technical knowledge in estate planning and proven ability to work independently to achieve objective.
Preferred Qualifications: CTFA or CFP, Series 7 & 63. Must have both current trust experience and proven sales results.
Additional Comments: Must be high energy and a good coach! Client is a financial advisor centered trust company. Will work with local offices to educate advisors and promote trust services.
