High net worth (HNW) investors are tough to pin down. The majority aren’t twenty-something tech founders; in fact, only about a quarter are self-employed, and sixty percent are over the age of 60.
Typically, their high net worth is a result of healthy financial behaviors. Roughly one-third don’t even have a financial advisor and when they are open to working with one, they tend to come through referrals.
