Or are they just interested in the more independent and RIA models?  Also do they have any recruiting packages?

We’ve picked up a ton of guys from AGE/WB over the last few months, and most of those are going with the traditional branch setting…Raymond James & Associates.  I’ve heard that the packages are getting a little tighter, since the supply of guys wanting to move has increased dramatically.  When we left AGE last year the average deals were in the 60%-70% t12 range.  If you’re a big, swinging Kong, you could see higher numbers.

I just moved from WS to a RJ full service office.  It is my understanding if the production is there, north of 1.5 mil. they would consider opening a new office.  I also have heard they may be pulling back on what they are offering.

Concur on the 1.5+ gets a free-standing office.  Get a group together and make the move as a unit and you'll get a dedicated transition crew of a couple of regional/h.q. people to help you through the process.

We fit that category, but they must be getting there fill.  The guy who was supposed to talk to our office has broken his appointment three times now...says he's just too busy working on existing deals.  No problem...there are others to consider...RayJay is not the only or best game in town.

Sorry to hear that, Cobra (427 or 289?).  Based on the announcements we’ve been seeing, I believe that our transition dept. may be completely allocated at this point, and they may be telling the regional guys to cool jets for a while.
