Being serious for a moment. I see nothing wrong with the Indy channel. Jones is not a better way. It is simply different. Indy is not a better path either … so get off your “I own the building, I have a fancy chair” high horse. In 20 years your business will be DEAD. Jones will still be here and even LARGER.

Hey Weddle weren’t you the one who posted that you were number 1 then lied about the Smart Money rankings? If “Jones is not a better way. It is simply different”, then why all the we’re number 1 b.s.?
There are tons of reports that have us number, have I lied about it? You INDY punks still bang on Jones because you think you are better. YOU ARE NOT!

I’m still not sure if this is a Troll or someone that drank from the pitcher of Kool-aid one too many times. It’s hard to tell because there are so many people who work at Jones that sound just like Windy. And yes, I believe this to be Windy.

I believe the JD Powers is currently in the hands of Raymond James both #1 in broker trust and Service and I also belive Raymond James is number 1 in Smart Money currently. I say currently because Jones has lost all of those customer surveys recently. I know all the kool aide boys and girls always vote their firm number 1 in Reg Rep. Any way here today gone tomorrow. That’s not what makes a good place to work. It who is there. You are there we are here. I love it that way. You have to be able to think to be indy. You are where you can be lead and we are where we can lead. It’ not quantity it’s quality. Been there I know the difference on my own not because Jim Bob Weddle told me.

Take your list of "Top Producers". Then compare how they would stack up at the top of leading independent firms. Trust me, you're not #1. Number of EDJ advisors named to Barron's Top 100? Zero. You're not #1. Option trading? You're not #1. Managed futures? Heard of them? Your "research" is so lightly regarded on the street that no attention is paid when EDJ changes a rating on a stock. They give a damn what Stifel Nicholas says, but don't give a crap about Skrainka. Trust me, you're not #1. BTW, who cares what Smart Money says? Edward Jones could brag if they employeed 12,000 Rankstocks. Edward Jones is definately a good place to start. I would even say they are a good place to end. But not the only place. EJ is not the best nor the worst place for IRs or clients.
Does EJ still mark up bonds before they put them in inventory? Speaking of bonds, I guess it was better for the Lehman bonds to be in clients accounts then inventory.
