Where is he going ?

No idea. But he’s been crying about Jones for the past year (or more), then he just fell off the face of the earth. So he either got canned or left on his own.

Borker Boy is the man.

Not if he got canned.  From Jones.

Hopefully he left on his own and hasn't come back here yet.

I heard him and Still@jones were going to form their own firm centered around making ex-Jones FAs as clients.  Just a rumor.

Man, they will totally KILL IT with all those $2k profit sharing rollovers!

I’d hire Borker Boy in a heartbeat. In fact, I think I tried to.

I hope he comes back. Always interesting to hear a story about a guy who left Jones and made it. The best day of his life (minus kids being born) was likely the day he gave his resignation.

I was just tired of hearing him month after month after month complain about Jones.  I mean, enough is enough.  Take your whiny b!tch skirt off.  I’m more about the silent, stealthy type.  My only two (real) jobs prior to coming to Jones, I shocked the he!! out of my bosses when I left.  Nobody saw it coming.  I had been at them both for years, and people at both companies thought I would be a “lifer”.

I think Borker hinted at going with a wirehouse team.  But I may be confusing him with someone else.

I know he had a plan. You are right about stealth. I sucker punched the entire leadership team in my region, my BOA. They had no idea.

He didn't work at a bank.

It was a good one. Especially coming from Windy's BOA.

I had a few conversations with him via PM. Not at all the same guy who posts. His region was nowhere near my old one, but it mirrored mine. He had a few things holding him back from leaving. This board was a good place for him to let out his frustrations.

I'm thinking of hiring a guy from a bank actually.

He is probably a dumb a$$ !!

  Not borker, the bank guy

You know, I’ve met quite a few bank brokers that seem like pretty good advisors. Being good at selling and prospecting does not equate to being a good advisor.

I knew a guy at Jones who was a MONSTER salesman. Record time to Seg 5. ALL doorknocks. Fired for conduct.
