what other forums do you guys post/view similar to the RR forums?
I don't view ANY forums that are "similar" to RR forums. These forums don't seem to be moderated and the threads get off-topic way too easily. Also, too many people here get offended so easily. Too much "rumor" talk, gossip, whining & complaining. Too much about "firm vs firm" and "which materials should I get to study for the Series 7?"
BTW, those questions are easily found using the SEARCH function on this forum or on any other forum.
So, I echo Top Gun Producers because the content stays on topic, heavily moderated and no room for crap & whining. It's easy to find good information on TGP. They don't care which firm you're at - because it doesn't matter. What does matter is getting ink on paper - and getting paid to do so.
Just be sure to read the rules!

Who's bipolar?
AdvisorMechanic has only 105 registered users, while TGP has over 1400. It's a little bit older and substantially more usable content.
offended easily? nah, just a little humour, I mean who haven't endured their share of
:go get aborted
go kill yourself!
hey, this happens on all forums and even the nicest of posters say stuff like this.
bipolr:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bipolar_disorder
As you might have noticed, pratoman can't get enough of BHull now(maybe because He IS BHull!)-he previously 'pretended' that BH was bashing him.
but he previously said stuff like this:
I really try not to even get into the bashing bulls*t, its just sometimes, when I run across a guy like Hull, I cant help myself. -pratoman
Bipolar is going from one extreme to the other. The only poster who hasn't been bipolar is plannrcoach, Silohette; it is even doubtful that he is crashcourse since he really isn't the type to bash anyone.
TGP is a stupid sight: porno and bashing but you have to go through levels to be able to see other sights - lack of interst.
This Advisor Mechanic seems like a friendly sight. Someone knows I am not in the biz and yet sent me an invitation to ck out the site.
Advisor Mechanic is new and will be used more--it just takes time. It is different from this site, created by an "indy" who got tired of the bashing. And yet probably allows others (non reps) to join the sight and post. I'm certainly sure he wouldn't care if nonreps posts on the offtopics. Objecting to anyone posting on an offtopic unless they are a rep is really close minded.
If you don't like a poster or care what they have to say, just politely ignore them. I've responded to your questions and I don't plan to post here anymore. If the admin here wants to continue allowing this poster(s) to continue this low caliber of treatment towards other posters, they can have this site!
It doesn't matter if you are in the biz; what matters if that when you treat people like sh*t, it means you are a piece of sh*t yourself. And to be entertained by this is utterly pathetic. Although a little bit of good natured banter between cooperative and willing participants like joedabrkr and whomit is good for a laugh as long as neither one of them is insulted over it. Joedabrkr seems to enjoy this sort of thing.
Bashbangganging by aliases is really pathetic, too. And these people are in the "people" business. I pity their clients.
This has been awakening. Who would really want to do business with a so called "professional" who would treat others this way? Not me!
Who would want to do business with someone who wants to control others and impede free speech - not me!
The problem with this site is the moderators allow the regulars to bash/trash people and to even control who posts here. They could learn a few things from Advisor Mechanic.
If you get that much enjoyment from being nasty, go to the source, go look in the mirror and tell yourself to "drop dead!"

ARe you sure there's no Bobby Hull?
heres a quote from your boyfriend pratoman to you or from you to you:

Please put your used sock in your mouth and then handcuff yourself to your inflatable doll, then shove her off a cliff.

oy!
Call my associate's office and he'll try to fit you in. I don't specialize in extreme cases like yours.

Is great.
This forum is pure crap compared to it.
topgunproducers is far and away the best.
If you have nothing productive to add, you'll get booted so we don't have to endure posters like echo.
You must have patience with the site because you will be limited in your ability to post until you prove your worth.

That is true. I frequent this forum (love the mag) and advisormechanic.com. To be fair, AdvisorMechanic has only been around for 2 months. TGP has been around according to their site since 2004. I should hope they have a lot more members. Just my 2 cents.
i didn’t like all the BS that ToyGunProducers wanted to put me through…I don’t need to “prove my worth” to anyone…take what I say for what it’s worth. I also had a problem with how the forum moderator treated those who got on the wrong side of him…I saw some completely juvenile behavior over there. I believe I’ll stay here where the forum moderator’s agenda is a little clearer.

You don't sound bitter about it at all.

I agree, the whole military thing is stupid. Basicly a bunch of frustrated life insurance salesmen.
Allreit, you could never survive at Top Gun because incorrect knowledge gets pounced on.
