Beware of Undermining Medicaid Eligibility

Take a close look at transfers of assets, especially to trusts.

Medicaid eligibility disputes continue to result in interesting court decisions. In several cases, individuals who transferred assets years ago undermined their attempt to qualify for Medicaid reimbursement of the cost of their nursing home care.
