New York-Citi Private Bank today announced that Robert Laughlin will join as Managing Director and Head of Citi Trust, North America. He will be based in New
York.

He is going to play a critical role in streamlining our North American sales and trust administration processes and in further establishing Citi Private Bank as a leader in comprehensive wealth planning services for ultra high net worth families globally," said Peter Charrington, CEO of Citi Private Bank, North America.
"Rob's depth of trust and estate planning experience position us well to further strengthen our global trust business by offering cross border opportunities for
clients and their families wanting access to our North American platform, while continuing to assist them with their complex needs in areas relating to estate
planning, charitable giving and business succession planning," said Paul James, Global Head of Citi Trust Services.
Mr. Laughlin brings more than 20 years of experience and joins from Neuberger Berman where he was Chairman and President of Neuberger Berman Trust Company N.A. which provides trust, estate and investment services to high net worth individuals and small to mid-sized institutional clients. Prior to Neuberger Berman, Mr. Laughlin spent more than 10 years with JPMorgan in various leadership roles, including acting as head of its Delaware and international fiduciary services business. Prior to JPMorgan, Mr. Laughlin worked as a trust and estate associate with the law firm of Chadbourne & Parke and as a senior accountant at Deloitte & Touche.
Mr. Laughlin is a member of the Executive Committee of the Trust Management Association, Inc. and serves as a Board and Finance Committee Member of Double H Ranch, a charitable organization located in Lake Luzerne, NY. Mr. Laughlin received his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and a law degree from Fordham University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
