The Internal Revenue Service recently issued final regulations (the proposed regulations were issued 10 years ago) that make changes in the substantiation and reporting rules governing cash and noncash gifts made by individuals, partnerships and corporations.

The IRS also changed appraisal rules for charitable gifts. Failure to abide by the rules can result in the complete denial of your client’s charitable deduction. Our speaker will give an overview of what’s required under the new rules.
