Jamil G. Daoud, J.D., LL.M, is special counsel in the Tampa, Fla. office of Foley & Lardner LLP, where he focuses his practice on estate planning, estate and trust administration and business succession planning. Daoud regularly designs basic and complex estate plans, including simple wills, pour-over wills, revocable trusts and irrevocable trusts that include gift trusts, insurance trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, lifetime qualified terminable interest property trusts, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts and grantor retained annuity trusts. He is admitted to practice in Florida, Ohio and before the U.S. Tax Court.
Daoud received his LL.M in taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, J.D. cum laude. He received his bachelor of science degree, with distinction, from Indiana University.
