The global financial crisis resulted in the largest global equity pullback in two generations followed by the past several years’ equally large bounce back. The year 2014 saw steady (but tepid) U.S. growth, increasing headwinds in Japan and Europe, a Chinese economy willing to forego quantity of growth for quality of growth and struggling emerging markets (EM)
