Last business-related book you read:
Technical Analysis — Plain and Simple, by Michael Kahn. Kahn's an ace of an analyst writing in plain English about a valuable but misunderstood analytical tool.
-
Favorite mode of transportation:
My outdoor recumbent bike.
-
Color of tie you favor for big meetings:
The man makes the tie, not the other way around.
-
Last meal eaten in a restaurant:
Swordfish steak (they were out of tuna).
-
Favorite philosopher:
Yogi Berra.
-
Last trip taken on frequent flyer miles:
New York/New Jersey, last year — cashed them in for the entire family of five.
-
Early bird or late riser?
Late riser, despite 41 years of trying to change that. I'm much sharper at 7 p.m. than 7 a.m.
-
Sales seminars — indispensable or waste of time?
Waste of time (and often of good food too).
-
Oldies or contemporary music?
Country music is the only thing I've got patience for on the radio. A former Jersey boy/alternative-music DJ in college likes country — go figure. Other favorites: Bruce Hornsby, Crowded House.

Title of your (presumably unwritten) autobiography?
Good Things Come to Those Who Work…Very Hard, or It's OK to Be Honest.
